The Great Trade Off Game

For Prep we have been learning about money and today we played a game about it it's called The Great Trade Off Game.


 there are 3 different types of tokens, money, fun and free time in my group you each got a goal by rolling a dice and getting a number to choose your goal once you have a goal you need to try achieve it but nobody in my group had fully finished.
You rolled a dice and move the number back or forth
I had Brayden, Kaif and I won because my goal was to get 10 money tokens 12 fun tokens and 8 free time tokens I got 12 money tokens 5 fun tokens and 3 free time tokens so I was 12 off my goal.

In Prep we are making masks and I am the treasurer so I work with money in Prep.

Main Star - Write a script and preform

For my play I done a stop motion video with Lego with 2 (main) characters, skull crusher and fire breath are fighting each other for the cactus of strength but they get disturbed and the whole thing goes crazy so they run off to leave the others alone.

This is my actual script:

A long time ago when the king got killed by a murderer who had a cactus the cactus had taken the power of the king and still has until today when our 2 best heroes will fight for the cactus of strength.
The question is who will win?.

For my 3D model I made a strange creature with wings, bulgy eyes and an onion looking hairdo. I made it out of drift wood, pompoms, pipe cleaners, leaves and Popsicle sticks it came out awesome and very funny.
I loved making it and love it!

For my Key com activities I planted snow peas with my sister in my garden it takes more than 10 weeks for it to fully grow and have snow peas.
I will share the final product with the class next term.

Main star - Build Something Out Of Recycled Objects

In my GNT program at school we are making cat scratchers to donate to the SPCA we used wood, wool, carpet, nails, staple gun, scissors and glue.
We need to finish this by the end of the term (26th of August)

Captain Underpants and the Tyrannical Retaliation of the Turbo Toilet 2000 - Personal Response

The genre of this book is humor because Captain Underpants tries to save the world but he makes the toilet cry and the water makes Captain Underpants turn back into mean old Mr Krupp so George and Harold had to use their brains and fight the Turbo Toilet 2000 by them self and save the world.

Main Star - Science Experiment

For my science experiment I took 4 plastic cups 4 iron nails and in each cup I put something different in Cup #1 I put water in Cup #2 I put vinegar in Cup #3 I put sand and in Cup #4 I left it empty and put 1 nail in each and left it .
I predicted that in the water it would rust and so will in the vinegar and in the rest it will stay the exact same.

These are the results:

The water got darker the vinegar got way darker and the rest were the same.

The genre of this book is humour.

Big Nate is one of the least popular child in P.S 38 (Public School 38) and his friend Francis is forcing him to run class president.

There are 2 more people who want to run class president too, Marcus and Lisa, who are king and queen of everything.

Some people want to vote for Nate because they want him to have a chance.

Will he win and be the class president or will he lose?

I think the genre of this book is humour.
Nate loses his friend, Francis' camera.
His other friend, Teddy has an uncle called Pedro and he hypnotizes Nate to make him neat because Nate is very messy.
Nate wants to save Francis from wasting all his money on a new camera instead of the one Nate lost and offers him to find the lost camera.
Will Francis ever be best friends again with Nate or will their relationship end forever?
